Operation Blackboard was an educational initiative launched by the Government of India in 1986 to improve primary education in rural areas. It aimed to ensure that every primary school had at least one teacher, a blackboard, and basic teaching-learning materials. The program also emphasized improving school infrastructure, teacher training, and enrollment rates. Operation Blackboard laid the foundation for later initiatives like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, enhancing access and quality of elementary education in India.

The Union Cabinet had approved the scheme for Indian youth to serve in the Armed Forces on 14 Jun 2022.

• The ‘Agnipath’ scheme is a transformational reform for the Armed Forces and the Nation and aims to bring
  paradigm changes in the Human Resource Management of the Indian Army.
• The youth (male/female) selected under this scheme will be known as ‘Agniveers’
• The ‘Agnipath’ allows patriotic and motivated youth (17.5 years to 21 years old) to serve in the Armed Forces
  for a period of 4 years.
• The best among to Agniveers, up to 25 percent in each batch, will be selected for regular cadre to serve for
  another 15 years, based on transparent and merit-based assessment.
• 46,000 Agniveers will be recruited this year (2022).
• The process of recruiting 46,000 soldiers, sailors, and airmen this year will begin on a "all-India, all-class"
  basis under the Agnipath scheme.
• The average age in the forces is 32 years today, which will go down to 26 in six to seven years.
• A youthful profile of the Army will provide a fresh lease of ‘Josh and Jazba’ while bringing about a
  transformational shift towards a more technical savvy Armed Forces- which is the need of the hour.
• Army will continue to retain its rich legacy, history, traditions, military values and culture - based on the
  principles of Cohesiveness, Camaraderie, Esprit-de-Corps and the core ethos of Naam, Namak and
  Nishan”
• On completion of the engagement period of four years, Agniveers will be paid one time ‘Seva Nidhi’
  package which shall comprise their contribution including accrued interest thereon and matching contribution
  from the Government equal to the accumulated amount of their contribution including interest.
• After their tenure their skills and experience would create opportunities for themselves and Contribute to the
  growth of the economy

4. No Cap on Family Size: There is no cap on the size of the family covered under PMJAY, ensuring that even large families can benefit from the scheme.

6. Technology-driven: The scheme utilizes technology extensively for beneficiary identification, verification, and seamless cashless transactions through the use of Aadhaar cards and IT systems.
7. Empanelment of Hospitals: Hospitals willing to provide services under PMJAY must undergo a strict empanelment process to ensure quality healthcare services.

The Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) is a pan-India scheme that aims to improve healthcare infrastructure. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 25, 2021, with an outlay of Rs. 64,180 crore for the scheme period from 2021-22 to 2025-26. The scheme's objectives include:

The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PM-GKAY) is a scheme that provides free food grains to poor people and migrants. It's part of Atmanirbhar Bharat and was launched in April 2020. The scheme provides 5 kg of free wheat or rice per person per month, and 1 kg of free whole chana to each family per month. The scheme is available to families belonging to the Below Poverty Line (Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) categories) and Priority Households (PHH) categories.

NISHTHA is a capacity building programme for "Improving Quality of School Education through Integrated Teacher Training". It aims to build competencies among all the teachers and school principals at the elementary stage. NISHTHA is the world's largest teachers' training programme of its kind.The basic objective of this massive training programme is to motivate and equip teachers to encourage and foster critical thinking in students. The initiative is first of its kind wherein standardized training modules are developed at national level for all States and UTs.

The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is a digital storehouse that contains a student's credit records throughout their educational journey. The ABC is a key part of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The ABC is designed to support students' academic mobility, allowing them to study at higher education institutions across the country and transfer credits between programs.
The ABC's objectives include:

• Promoting student-centric education
• Focusing on learner-friendly teaching approaches
• Implementing an inter-disciplinary approach
• Allowing students to learn the best courses of their interest
• Enabling students to learn at their own pace
• The ABC will cover almost all types of courses, including distance learning courses, to help students of every possible stream.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes volunteer participation in schools and community involvement in improving school quality. The Vidyanjali initiative by the Indian Ministry of Education connects schools with community and private sector volunteers, including young professionals from the Indian Diaspora. The EdCIL Vidyanjali Scholarship Programme also aligns with the NEP 2020 and aims to improve access to higher education and quality education.

NIPUN Bharat is a component of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 that focuses on foundational literacy and numeracy skills in preschool and grades 1–3. The NEP 2020 states that the education system's highest priority is to achieve universal foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) in primary school by 2025. The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) is a flagship initiative launched by the Government of India in 2019 with the aim of providing piped water supply (Har Ghar Jal) to all rural households by 2024. The mission is part of the larger vision of ensuring water security and improving the lives of people living in rural areas of India.

This Project comes under the Ministry of Jalshakti.
